NORYL™ GFN2 PPE+PS Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and Polystyrene (PS) Blend developed for applications requiring enhanced Stiffness, Dimensional Stability, and Outdoor Durability. This General Purpose material offers a Stronger Reinforcement Level while maintaining Low Density, making it suitable for components where Structural performance and Weight Efficiency are Equally Important.

Materials used in Outdoor applications must maintain consistent properties under UV Exposure, Moisture Conditions, and Temperature Fluctuations. This Grade is engineered with Hydrolytic Stability and Low Creep Sensitivity, ensuring reliable performance without degradation over time, supporting Long-Term Outdoor Stability.

NORYL™ GFN2 PPE+PS Resin provides Improved Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability compared to Lower Reinforced Grades, allowing components to Better Resist deformation under Stress. Its balanced Mechanical Profile makes it suitable for applications requiring Stronger Structural Integrity while maintaining Manageable Processing Performance.

Processing characteristics are optimized to deliver Low Warpage behaviour and consistent Mold Filling, even with Higher Glass Content. This supports accurate Part Geometry and Repeatable Production Outcomes, helping manufacturers achieve Manufacturing Consistency and Improved Dimensional Control.

NORYL™ GFN2 PPE+PS Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting General-Purpose Flame performance Requirements. It also maintains good Electrical properties and Resistance to Environmental Exposure. In addition, NORYL™ GFN2 is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

From an application Perspective, this material is well suited for Outdoor Housings, Electrical Components, and Structural Parts requiring Durability and Dimensional Reliability. Its increased Reinforcement Level provides added confidence in applications where Strength and Stability are Critical.
