NORYL™ GFN2F PPE+HIPS Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend developed for applications requiring FDA Compliance, Dimensional Stability, and Outdoor Durability. This General Purpose material combines Reinforced Stiffness with Low Density, making it suitable for components where Mechanical performance and Regulatory requirements must be achieved together.

Materials used in Food Contact and Outdoor applications must maintain consistent properties under Moisture Exposure, Temperature Variation, and Environmental Conditions. This Grade is engineered with Hydrolytic Stability and Low Creep Sensitivity, ensuring reliable performance without degradation over time, supporting Long-Term Stability in Regulated Environments.

NORYL™ GFN2F PPE+HIPS Resin provides enhanced Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability through its 20% Glass Reinforcement, allowing components to retain Geometry under Stress. Its balanced Mechanical Profile supports applications requiring Structural Integrity and Weight Efficiency, especially in Parts exposed to repeated Environmental Stress.

Processing characteristics are optimized to deliver Low Warpage behaviour and stable Mold Filling despite Reinforced Content. This enables accurate Part Geometry and consistent Quality across Production Cycles, Contributing to Improved Manufacturing Consistency and Dimensional Control.

NORYL™ GFN2F PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting General-Purpose Flame performance Requirements. It also maintains reliable Electrical properties and Resistance to Environmental Conditions. in addition, NORYL™ GFN2F is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
From an application Perspective, this material is well suited for Food Contact Components, Outdoor Housings, and Structural Parts where both Compliance and Durability are required.
