NORYL™ GFN2L Outdoor 20% Glass Fiber Reinforced PPE + PS Unique Blend

General Purpose Resin for Outdoor Applications. Hydrolytic Stability

NORYL™ GFN2L PPE+PS Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and Polystyrene (PS) Blend engineered for applications requiring Dimensional Stability, Low Warpage, and Lightweight Performance. This general purpose material combines reinforced stiffness with low specific gravity, making it suitable for components where Structural Efficiency and Weight Reduction are critical.

Materials used in Outdoor Applications must maintain Consistent Properties under Moisture Exposure, Temperature Variation, and Environmental Conditions. This grade is designed with strong Hydrolytic Stability and Low Creep Sensitivity, ensuring Reliable Performance without deformation over time, supporting Long-Term Outdoor Durability.

NORYL™ GFN2L PPE+PS Resin provides enhanced Stiffness and controlled Dimensional Stability through its 20% glass reinforcement, allowing components to maintain shape under mechanical load. Its optimized formulation supports applications where Balanced Strength and Weight Efficiency are required for consistent performance.

Processing characteristics are tuned to deliver Low Warpage Behaviour and stable mold filling, ensuring accurate part geometry and repeatable results. This contributes to improve Manufacturing Consistency and helps reduce variation in high-volume production environments.

NORYL™ GFN2L PPE+PS Resin achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting general-purpose flame performance requirements. It also offers good Electrical Properties and resistance to environmental stress. In addition, NORYL™ GFN2L is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

From an application perspective, this material is well suited for Outdoor Housings, Electrical Components, and Lightweight Structural Parts requiring durability and dimensional accuracy. Its combination of reinforcement and low density supports efficient designs without compromising mechanical reliability.

NORYL™ GFN2L PPE+PS Resin ultimately delivers a balanced solution combining Dimensional Stability, Lightweight Performance, and Structural Strength.
