Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated FR, Good Impact & Hydrolytic Stability

NORYL™ HS2000X PPE+HIPS Resin is a Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated Flame Retardant Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend engineered with 17% Mineral Reinforcement for enhanced Dimensional Stability and Moisture Resistance. This material is designed for Outdoor applications where Structural Integrity and Environmental Durability are Critical.

Materials used in Outdoor Electrical and Structural applications must maintain consistent properties under Moisture Exposure, UV Conditions, and Temperature Variation. This Grade is formulated with Low Moisture Absorption and Strong Hydrolytic Stability, ensuring reliable performance without Degradation, supporting Long-Term Outdoor Durability.

NORYL™ HS2000X PPE+HIPS Resin provides Improved Dimensional Stability through Mineral Reinforcement, allowing components to maintain Shape under Thermal and Mechanical Stress. The formulation enhances Stiffness while Controlling Shrinkage, making it suitable for applications requiring stable Geometry and Structural Reliability.

Processing characteristics are optimized to deliver Low Warpage behaviours and consistent Mold Filling. The material supports Predictable Shrinkage and uniform Part Formation, Contributing to improved Manufacturing Consistency and Better Surface Quality in Large or Complex Components.

NORYL™ HS2000X PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Rating from 1.50 mm to 6.00 mm Thickness, supporting High-Level Flame Retardant requirements for Electrical and Industrial applications. Its Non Halogen formulation provides a safer material Solution without Brominated or Chlorinated Additives. In addition, NORYL™ HS2000X is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

From an application Perspective, this material is well suited for Outdoor Electrical Enclosures, Structural Housings, and Industrial components requiring Flame Resistance and Environmental Stability. Its Mineral Reinforcement provides consistent performance in applications exposed to Moisture and Outdoor Conditions.
