NORYL™ IGN320 PPE+HIPS Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend developed for demanding Automotive applications requiring High Heat Resistance, High Modulus, and Dimensional Stability. This material is engineered to deliver Strong Structural performance while maintaining Low Moisture Sensitivity for consistent reliability under varying Operating Conditions.
Materials used in Automotive Environments must maintain consistent properties under Thermal Exposure, Mechanical Load, and Moisture Conditions. This Grade is designed with Low Moisture Absorption and stable Polymer Behavior, ensuring reliable performance without Dimensional Change, supporting Long-Term Thermal and Structural Stability.
NORYL™ IGN320 PPE+HIPS Resin provides enhanced Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability through its 20% Glass Reinforcement, enabling components to retain Shape under Stress. Its High Modulus Characteristic supports applications requiring Structural Rigidity and Mechanical Strength, especially in Automotive Systems exposed to Heat and Continuous Load.
Processing characteristics are optimized to maintain stable Flow and controlled Shrinkage, Contributing to Low Warpage behavior and accurate Part Geometry. This supports improved Manufacturing Consistency and enables Production of Precise components with reliable Dimensional Control.
NORYL™ IGN320 PPE+HIPS Resin offers Strong Thermal Stability and maintains Mechanical performance at Elevated Temperatures, making it suitable for demanding Automotive Conditions. While it is Classified as Non UL Rated, it remains Effective for applications where Flame Resistance is not a Primary Requirement. In addition, NORYL™ IGN320 is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
From an application Perspective, this material is well suited for Automotive Structural Parts, Under-The-Hood Components, and High Temperature Housings requiring Durability and Dimensional Accuracy.
