NORYL™ LPN170HG PPE+HIPS Resin is a Non-Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend developed for Automotive applications requiring High Heat Resistance, Low Density, and Superior Surface Appearance. This material offers a unique combination of performance and Aesthetics, making it suitable for visible components where Lightweight Design and Visual Quality are Critical.

Materials used in Automotive Interior and Exterior applications must maintain consistent properties under Thermal Exposure, UV Conditions, and Mechanical Stress. This Grade is engineered with Low Outgassing and stable Polymer Behavior, ensuring reliable performance without Surface Degradation, supporting Long-Term Aesthetic and Functional Stability.

NORYL™ LPN170HG PPE+HIPS Resin provides excellent High Gloss Surface Finish while maintaining balanced Impact Strength and Dimensional Consistency. Its formulation allows Designers to achieve Premium Visual appearance while ensuring Durability, making it suitable for applications requiring Surface Aesthetics and Structural Performance.

Processing characteristics are optimized for Smooth Mold Filling and controlled Shrinkage, enabling consistent Part Geometry and High-Quality Surface Finish. This supports improved Manufacturing Consistency and reduces Post-Processing Requirements, which is beneficial for Automotive Production Environments.

NORYL™ LPN170HG PPE+HIPS Resin delivers Strong Thermal Stability combined with Low Density, helping reduce Overall Component Weight while maintaining Performance. Although it is classified as Non UL Rated, it remains suitable for applications where Flame Retardancy is not a Primary Requirement. In addition, NORYL™ LPN170HG is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
