NORYL™ NC212 PPE+HIPS Resin is a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend engineered for applications requiring Electrical Conductivity, ESD Protection, and Flame Retardancy. This Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated formulation combines Functional Conductivity with Strong Mechanical Performance, making it suitable for Advanced Electrical and Industrial applications.
Materials used in ESD Sensitive and Electrically Conductive applications must maintain consistent properties under Thermal Exposure, Mechanical Stress, and Environmental Conditions. This Grade is designed with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement to provide controlled Conductivity and enhanced Structural Strength, ensuring reliable performance in applications where Static Discharge Control is Critical.
NORYL™ NC212 PPE+HIPS Resin provides Strong Impact Resistance while delivering stable Electrical Conductivity, enabling Effective Protection against Electrostatic Discharge. Its balanced formulation supports applications requiring both Mechanical Toughness and ESD Control, Improving reliability in Sensitive Electronic Environments.
Processing characteristics are optimized to ensure uniform Dispersion of Carbon Fibers and stable material Flow. This allows consistent Electrical performance across Molded Parts while maintaining Dimensional Accuracy, Contributing to improved Manufacturing Consistency and Part Quality.
NORYL™ NC212 PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-1 Rating at 1.50 mm Thickness, supporting Flame Retardant requirements for Electrical and Industrial applications. Its Non Halogen formulation provides a safer material Solution Aligned with Environmental and Safety Standards. In addition, NORYL™ NC212 is RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.
From an application Perspective, this material is well suited for ESD Protective Components, Electrical Housings, and Conductive Structural Parts requiring Durability and controlled Conductivity. Its Carbon Fiber Reinforcement enables both Structural performance and Functional Electrical Behavior.
