NORYL™ NHP5054 PPE+HIPS Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Copolymer Blend developed for applications that demand High Heat Resistance, Dimensional Stability, and Low Specific Gravity. This Grade combines Reinforced Strength with a Tailored Copolymer Structure, making it especially effective for Thin Wall components where both Thermal performance and Weight Efficiency are Critical.
In Thin Wall and High Heat applications, Materials must perform consistently under Thermal Cycling, Mechanical Stress, and Rapid Cooling Conditions. This Grade is formulated to maintain stable Geometry and Structural Integrity, even when molded into Complex Shapes or reduced Thickness Sections, supporting reliable performance in Precision Designs.
With its Reinforced Composition, NORYL™ NHP5054 PPE+HIPS Resin delivers Strong Stiffness and Load Resistance, allowing Parts to retain Shape under Stress while minimizing Deformation. The unique Copolymer formulation helps balance Strength with Flow Behavior, making it suitable for Designs where Structural performance and Lightweight Efficiency must work together.
From a Processing Perspective, this material Flows Efficiently into Thin Sections and Intricate Molds without Sacrificing Dimensional Control. This helps reduce Defects such as Short Shots or Warpage, Improving Manufacturing Consistency and Part Accuracy in High-Volume Production Environments.
NORYL™ NHP5054 PPE+HIPS Resin meets UL94 V-0 Rating from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, making it a Strong Choice for applications requiring Flame Retardancy in Thin Wall Designs. Its Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated formulation aligns with Modern Environmental Expectations. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.
