NORYL™ NHP81010T3 PPE+HIPS Resin is an Advanced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Copolymer Blend engineered for applications requiring Ultra Thin Wall Capability, High CTI Performance, and Flame Retardant Reliability. Designed for High-Voltage Electrical Systems, this Grade combines enhanced Flow behavior with Strong Insulation properties for Next-Generation EV Components.
In High-Voltage applications, Insulation Materials must do more than Resist Heat—They must Prevent Electrical Tracking and maintain performance under Harsh Operating Conditions. This Grade is developed to deliver High Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) Along with stable Electrical Performance, making it highly suitable for Systems where Safety Margins are Critical.
One of the Key Advantages of NORYL™ NHP81010T3 PPE+HIPS Resin is its Higher Flow Rate, allowing it to Process Efficiently into Extremely Thin Sections Down to 0.25 mm while maintaining Structural Integrity. This makes it Ideal for Complex Geometries and Precision Parts used in Advanced Electrical Systems, supporting Compact Design and High Manufacturing Efficiency.
The material is also highly Versatile in Processing, supporting Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Thermoforming. It performs especially well in Overmolding and Insert Molding applications, such as Insulation of Metal EV Busbars, where Precise Bonding and Dimensional Accuracy are required for Electrical Safety and Performance.
NORYL™ NHP81010T3 PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Rating from 0.25 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, Demonstrating Exceptional Flame Retardant performance even in very Thin Wall Designs. Its Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated formulation ensures Compliance with Modern Environmental Standards, and it is also RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental and Regulatory Requirements.
Beyond Flame Resistance, the material offers excellent Hydrolytic Stability, Chemical Resistance, and Low Moisture Sensitivity. It shows improved Resistance to Acids compared to Polycarbonate (PC) and Better Moisture performance compared to Polyamide, ensuring Long-Term Durability in Challenging Environments.
