NORYL™ NHP9023 PPE+HIPS Resin is a 15% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Copolymer Blend engineered for applications requiring High Heat Resistance, Dimensional Stability, and Modulus Retention. This Grade is designed to maintain Mechanical performance under Load, making it suitable for Thin Wall components where Long-Term Stiffness and reliability are Essential.
Maintaining Stiffness over time becomes critical in Designs exposed to Continuous Stress. This material is formulated to support Modulus Retention under Thermal and Mechanical Conditions, allowing components to preserve Rigidity even after Prolonged Service, supporting consistent Structural Performance.
With its Reinforced Structure, NORYL™ NHP9023 PPE+HIPS Resin provides a Strong balance of Impact Strength and Structural Stability, enabling Parts to Absorb Stress while maintaining Shape. The 15% Glass content enhances Stiffness without Overly Restricting Flow, making it suitable for applications requiring Strength with Processability Balance.
From a Molding Standpoint, the material offers reliable Flow into Thin Sections while maintaining Dimensional Control. This helps reduce Distortion and Improves Part Quality, Contributing to Better Manufacturing Consistency and Dimensional Accuracy during Production.
NORYL™ NHP9023 PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, providing Dependable Flame Retardant performance for Electrical and Industrial Components. Its Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated formulation aligns with Modern Environmental Requirements, and it is also RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.
In practical applications, this Grade Performs well in Business Equipment, Electrical Internal Components, and Thin Wall Structural Parts where consistent Heat performance and Dimensional Control are required. Its ability to retain Stiffness over time makes it especially useful in Functional components that Cannot Deform under Load.
