NORYL™ PCN2910 PPE+HIPS Resin is a highly Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend formulated with 25% Glass Fiber and 10% Mica Reinforcement. This Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated Flame Retardant material is engineered to deliver High Modulus, Dimensional Stability, and Hydrolytic Stability for demanding Structural applications.
In applications where Rigidity is Critical, Materials must resist deformation under Continuous Load. This Grade is specifically designed to provide High Modulus Performance, allowing components to maintain Stiffness even under Mechanical Stress, supporting Structural Precision and Long-Term Shape Retention.
With its Dual Reinforcement System, NORYL™ PCN2910 PPE+HIPS Resin Benefits from both Glass Fiber Strength and Mica’s ability to Control Shrinkage. This combination enhances Dimensional Stability and Warpage Resistance, ensuring that Molded Parts retain consistent Geometry in Complex or Large-Scale Designs.
The material also Performs reliably in Environments where Moisture exposure can affect Performance. Its formulation offers Strong Hydrolytic Stability, helping components maintain Mechanical properties over time, which is Essential for applications requiring Environmental Durability and consistent Performance.
NORYL™ PCN2910 PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-1 Rating at 3.00 mm Thickness, providing Dependable Flame Retardant performance for Electrical and Industrial applications. Its Non Halogen System supports safer material selection without Brominated or Chlorinated Additives. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
From an application Standpoint, this Grade is well suited for Electrical Enclosures, Structural Components, and Industrial Housings where Stiffness and Dimensional Accuracy are Essential. Its Reinforced Structure enables it to perform effectively in Parts that must remain stable under Load and Environmental Stress.
