NORYL™ PKN4775 High Temperature Good Modulus PPE + HIPS Opaque Blend

Impact Strength, Dimension Stability, High Heat & Chemical Resistance

NORYL™ PKN4775 PPE+HIPS Resin is a Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend engineered for applications requiring High Modulus at Elevated Temperature, Chemical Resistance, and Thermal Stability. This Opaque material is designed as an improved Version of Earlier NORYL Grades, offering enhanced performance for demanding Environments.

In applications exposed to Continuous Heat, maintaining Stiffness is often more valuable than Just Resisting Temperature. This Grade is developed to retain Mechanical Rigidity under Elevated Temperature, ensuring components do not Soften or Deform during Operation, supporting stable performance in High Heat Conditions.

Compared to Earlier Formulations, NORYL™ PKN4775 PPE+HIPS Resin delivers improved Modulus Retention and Chemical Resistance, allowing Parts to withstand exposure to various Industrial Substances without Losing Structural Integrity. This makes it especially useful in Environments where Thermal and Chemical Stress Occur Simultaneously.

From a Processing Standpoint, the material offers Predictable Molding behavior and consistent Shrinkage Control. This helps maintain Dimensional Accuracy in finished Parts and contributes to Better Manufacturing Consistency and Surface Quality, particularly in Opaque Visible Components.

NORYL™ PKN4775 PPE+HIPS Resin is classified as Non UL Rated, making it suitable for applications where Flame Retardancy is not a Primary Requirement. It still provides Strong Thermal and Mechanical performance Typical of the NORYL family. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

In Real-World applications, this Grade is well suited for Industrial Components, High Temperature Housings, and Structural Parts where Stiffness at Temperature and Chemical Resistance are critical Design Factors. Its Opaque formulation also supports applications requiring consistent Visual Appearance.

At its Core, NORYL™ PKN4775 PPE+HIPS Resin delivers a reliable balance of High Temperature Stability, Mechanical Strength, and Chemical Resistance. It provides an Effective Solution for applications where Rigidity, Durability, and Process Stability must be maintained over time.
