NORYL™ PVX1201 General Purpose Resin PPE + HIPS Engineering Blend

Low Moisture Absorption, Dimension Stability & Hydrolytic Stability

NORYL™ PVX1201 PPE + HIPS Resin is engineered for applications where Dimensional Stability is the Primary Design Requirement, delivering consistent performance even under Fluctuating Environmental Conditions. The material combines Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) with High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) to create a balanced System that support Precision and Long-Term Reliability.

A Key Advantage of this material lies in its Low Moisture Absorption, which allows components to maintain their original dimensions even in Humid Environments. Unlike many Thermoplastics that expand or Lose Tolerance when exposed to Moisture, this Resin ensures that Part Geometry and Assembly Fit remain Stable over Time.

NORYL™ PVX1201 Resin extends this performance through Strong Hydrolytic Resistance, enabling it to withstand exposure to water without significant degradation. This makes it suitable for applications requiring consistent performance in Environments where Humidity or Moisture Exposure cannot be Avoided.

The material also offers Excellent Dimensional control during Molding, with reduced Warpage and controlled Shrinkage. This allows designers to maintain Tight Tolerances directly from the Molding Process, Minimizing the need for Rework or Secondary Correction.

NORYL™ PVX1201 Resin provides reliable Flow behaviour during processing, enabling efficient Mold Filling and Repeatable Part Quality. This balance between Rigidity and Processability support High-Volume Manufacturing without Sacrificing Precision.

The Resin Achieves UL94-V1 Classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, providing dependable Flame performance for applications requiring controlled Ignition Behaviour.

This Unique NORYL™ PVX1201 Resin is well suited for Electrical Housings, Appliance Components, Structural Parts, and Precision Assemblies, where Dimensional Accuracy and Moisture Resistance must be maintained over Long Service Periods.

NORYL™ PVX1201 Resin is ROHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material Selection while delivering Stable, Precision-Driven Engineering Performance.
