NORYL™ PX1134 PPE+HIPS Resin is a Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend developed for Automotive Body Panel and Instrument Panel applications requiring Impact Resistance, Dimensional Stability, and Surface Consistency. This material is engineered to meet Established Automotive Safety Standards while supporting Design flexibility in Visible Components.

For Interior Structural Parts like Dashboards, Materials must respond reliably during sudden Impact Events while maintaining Part Integrity. This Grade is designed to meet the ECE Dashboard Impact Requirements, ensuring components can Absorb Energy effectively and support Passenger Safety and controlled Impact Performance.

With its balanced Formulation, NORYL™ PX1134 PPE+HIPS Resin delivers Strong Impact Strength combined with stable Dimensional Control, allowing Parts to maintain alignment and Fit within Complex Assemblies. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where Structural Stability and Assembly Precision are Essential.

Unlike highly specialized Grades, this material provides Versatility across Multiple Interior applications. Its ability to maintain performance across different Geometries makes it an excellent Candidate for Instrument Panel components and Interior Structural Parts, especially where both Function and appearance must be managed together.

From a Manufacturing Standpoint, the Resin offers reliable Flow characteristics and Predictable Shrinkage Behavior. This supports consistent Molding Outcomes and reduces Variation, Improving Manufacturing Consistency and Surface Quality during Production.

NORYL™ PX1134 PPE+HIPS Resin is classified as Non UL Rated, making it suitable for applications where Flame Retardancy is not a Requirement. It still meets Key Automotive performance Criteria, including Impact Compliance. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Automotive Instrument Panels, Dashboard Structures, and Interior Components, where Durability and consistent performance are required. Its availability in Limited Color options also supports controlled Design Aesthetics for Automotive Interiors.
