Non‑Halogenated FR offering Hydrolytic Stability, High Temperature

NORYL™ SE1X PPE+HIPS Resin is a Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated Flame Retardant Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend engineered for applications requiring Hydrolytic Stability, Low Moisture Absorption, and Outdoor Durability. This Unreinforced Grade is designed to deliver consistent performance across a Wide range of Electrical and Environmental Conditions.

For components Installed in exposed Environments, Long-Term reliability Depends on how well the material Handles Moisture and Weathering. This Grade is formulated to Resist Moisture Ingress and Environmental Degradation, ensuring stable Mechanical and Electrical performance over Extended Service Periods in both Indoor and Outdoor use.

Unlike Heavily Reinforced Materials, NORYL™ SE1X PPE+HIPS Resin offers Better Flow and Molding Flexibility, making it suitable for Thin Wall Designs and Complex Geometries. This allows manufacturers to produce Detailed Parts with consistent Quality, supporting efficient Production and Design Versatility.

The material also maintains Strong Dimensional Stability, helping Parts retain their Shape under Thermal and Environmental Stress. This is Essential for applications where Proper alignment and Enclosure Integrity must be Preserved, supporting reliable Assembly and Long-Term Fit Stability.

NORYL™ SE1X PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Rating from 0.75 mm to 6.00 mm Thickness, delivering reliable Flame Retardant performance across a Broad Thickness Range. Its Non Halogen formulation aligns with Modern Safety Standards. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is an excellent Candidate for Electrical Enclosures, HVAC Components, Solar and Photovoltaic (PV) Junction Boxes, and Outdoor Housings. Its balanced performance allows it to perform reliably in applications exposed to Moisture, Heat, and Environmental Variation.
