NORYL™ WM230A PPE+HIPS Resin is a 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend designed for applications requiring High Strength, Long-Term Hydrolytic Stability, and Thermal Resistance. This Structural Grade is built for demanding Water Management Systems where components must withstand Continuous Load and Pressure.

In High-Demand Fluid Systems, Materials are often subjected to sustained Pressure, Mechanical Stress, and Continuous Water Exposure. This Grade is formulated to maintain Mechanical Integrity under Heavy Load Conditions, supporting reliable Operation in Systems where Failure is not acceptable.

With its 30% Glass Reinforcement, NORYL™ WM230A PPE+HIPS Resin delivers Superior Strength and Rigidity, enabling components to handle Higher Stress Levels compared to Lower Reinforced Alternatives. This makes it particularly effective for applications where Maximum Structural Stability and Load Resistance are required.

A Key performance Advantage Lies in its excellent Hydrolytic Stability combined with Low Water Absorption, allowing Parts to Resist Dimensional change even after prolonged exposure to Water. This ensures consistent Fit, Sealing, and Mechanical Function in Water-Handling Systems over time.

From a Production Perspective, the material is engineered for controlled Molding despite its High Filler Content. This enables manufacturers to achieve accurate Part Geometry and maintain Manufacturing Consistency, especially in Complex or Load-Bearing Components.

NORYL™ WM230A PPE+HIPS Resin is classified as Non UL Rated, making it suitable for applications where Flame Retardancy is not required but Structural performance is Critical. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is an excellent Candidate for Pump Housings, Impellers, Valves, and High-Load Water Management components where Strength, Durability, and Resistance to Moisture are Essential. Its High Reinforcement Level supports reliable performance in Systems Operating under Continuous Stress.
