PLEXIGLAS® Film 0F058 is a Premium PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) Light Guide Film and well known for its exceptional Optical Clarity.
Offering 92% Luminous Transmittance and 70–100 Db/km Optical Damping, it efficiently channels Light Over Long Distances through Total Internal Reflection. This is Ideal for Light Guide Panels (LGP) used in Backlight Units and Display Modules.
PLEXIGLAS® 0F058 PMMA Film’s Flexibility supports various Microstructuring Methods. Physical Techniques such as Hot Embossing, Injection Molding, and Melt Calendering allow Precise Patterning, with Hot Embossing typically performed by Heating above the Glass Transition Temperature and Stamping the Surface. Chemical Methods such as Inkjet and Laser Printing can offer High Microstructuring Accuracy, producing Micro Lens patterns with Uniform Luminance and Design Flexibility. Such approaches enable Fast Development and meet the demand for Thinner, more Efficient LGP's. Roll-To-Roll (R2R) processing further enhances production efficiency.
