Advanced PMMA Material Supporting Reliable sealing in LOAC Systems
PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 Film is an Improved PMMA based film developed to deliver enhanced Impact Resistance, Higher Thermal Stability, and reliable Sealing Performance in Precision Applications. Compared to standard grades, PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 Film features an Impact Modified Formulation, making it more Resistant to Mechanical Stress and Handling Damage.
The Increased Glass Transition Temperature (Tg ~111 °C) allows PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 PMMA Film to maintain Dimensional Stability under slightly Higher Thermal conditions. This Improvement support applications where Elevated Temperature Exposure or Thermal Cycling must be managed without Compromising Performance.
A Key Advantage of PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 Film is its Higher Sealing Temperature range (Approximately 150 °C to 160 °C), enabling more Robust Bonding during Thermal Sealing Processes. This makes the material suitable for Multilayer Constructions and Microfluidic Assemblies where reliable Sealing is Critical.
PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 Film Optical Properties Remain Strong, maintaining the Transparency and Surface Quality Expected from PMMA Based Films. The material can be processed using standard Techniques such as Laser Cutting, Die Cutting, and Thermoforming, allowing Flexibility across Manufacturing Methods.
Due to its Improved Mechanical and Thermal Characteristics, PLEXIGLAS® 0F302 Film is well suited for Advanced Microfluidic and Lab On A Chip (LOAC) Systems, where Durability, Sealing Performance, and Optical Clarity must be achieved together. These systems benefit from Stable Channel Sealing and Consistent Fluid behaviour during Operation.
