POLYLAC PA-764 is an ABS Resin, Improved Flame Retardant Opaque Grade

POLYLAC™ PA-764 ABS Resin is a Flame-Retardant Engineering Thermoplastic developed by CHIMEI, Taiwan, for applications where Electrical Safety, Heat Resistance, and Mechanical reliability are Critical. Designed for demanding Environments, POLYLAC™ PA-764 ABS Resin combines Flame Protection, Good Impact Strength, Thermal Stability, and efficient Processing characteristics to support the Production of durable and reliable Molded Components.

Compared with Conventional ABS Materials, POLYLAC™ PA-764 incorporates an Advanced Flame-Retardant formulation that helps reduce Flammability and Limit Flame Spread. This makes the Resin particularly suitable for Electrical and Electronic Products that require enhanced Fire Safety Performance. POLYLAC™ PA-764 ABS Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Classification from 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm Thickness, as well as UL94 5VB at 1.5 mm Thickness and UL94 5VA from 2.5 mm to 3.0 mm Thickness, providing manufacturers with a material Solution for applications requiring Higher Flame Resistance Standards.

Beyond its Flame-Retardant Performance, POLYLAC™ PA-764 ABS Resin offers reliable Processing characteristics for Injection Molding applications. With a Melt Flow Index (MFI) of approximately 28 ml/10 min Measured According to ISO 1133, the material provides Good Flow behaviour that enables efficient Filling of Complex Mold Designs while maintaining consistent Part Quality and Production Stability.

The Resin also delivers a balanced combination of Heat Resistance, Impact Strength, and Dimensional Stability. Components Produced with POLYLAC™ PA-764 ABS Resin can withstand Mechanical Stress and Elevated Operating Temperatures, making it suitable for Products exposed to Continuous Usage Conditions. Its Opaque appearance and Versatile Processing performance provide Designers with flexibility when Developing Functional and durable Plastic Components.
