ULTEM™ 1000. General Purpose Non Reinforced FAR FST Compliance Resin

High-Temperature Strength and Inherent Flame Performance for Critical Applications

ULTEM™ 1000 PEI Resin is a high Performance, General Purpose Thermoplastic engineered for applications requiring excellent Thermal Stability, inherent Flame Retardancy, and strong Mechanical Performance at Elevated Temperatures. with a Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) of 217°C, the material maintains Structural Performance under demanding Conditions.

The Amorphous PEI Structure provides High Strength, Stiffness, and Dimensional Stability, enabling components to perform reliably under continuous Thermal and Mechanical Stress. This makes the material suitable for both Industrial and Aerospace Environments.

ULTEM™ 1000 PEI Resin is inherently Flame Retardant and achieves UL94-V0 classification from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm, without the need for Halogenated Additives. It also meets FAR 25.853 FST (Flame, Smoke, Toxicity) Requirements, supporting use in Aerospace Interior applications.

The material demonstrates excellent resistance to UV Radiation and Gamma Sterilization, allowing Performance Stability in Environments exposed to Radiation or Sterilization Processes. It also Performs well in Hot Air and Hot Water Conditions, maintaining Mechanical Integrity.

ULTEM™ 1000 PEI Resin complies with Halogen‑Free Standards including IEC 61249‑2‑21, IPC 4101E, and JEDEC JS709B, supporting Environmentally Responsible and Safety‑Focused material selection. It is available in Transparent Amber or Opaque Color options, offering Design Flexibility.

The Resin supports Good Processability, enabling the production of Complex Geometries while maintaining consistent Quality and Performance.

The ULTEM™ 1000 PEI Resin is Ideal for Aerospace Interiors, Electrical Insulation, Medical components, Connectors, and High‑Temperature Structural applications, where Flame Retardancy, Heat Resistance, and Strength are critical.
