ULTEM™ 1000P100 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Non-Reinforced Polyetherimide Material supplied in Powder Form, developed for Applications requiring High Thermal Stability, excellent Mechanical Properties, and flexible Processing Options. With a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, ULTEM™ 1000P100 PEI Resin maintains Structural Performance under Elevated Temperature Conditions, supporting reliable use in demanding Engineering Environments.
A distinguishing feature of this Material is its Spherical Particle Morphology, which enables uniform Flow and consistent Behavior during Powder-Based Processing. This Structure allows efficient use of ULTEM™ 1000P100 PEI Resin in Additive Manufacturing, Coating Processes, and Sintering Applications where controlled Material Deposition is Essential.
The Material delivers balanced Mechanical Strength and Dimensional Stability together with inherent Flame Retardant Properties, supporting dependable Performance across Industrial and High-Performance Applications. These characteristics ensure reliable Function under varying Thermal and Mechanical Conditions.
Controlled Particle Size Distribution enhances Processing Precision, with an Average Particle Size of approximately 100 Microns and a Maximum Particle Size near 150 Microns. This consistency allows uniform Layer Formation and stable Processing Results in Powder-Based Manufacturing Techniques.
Compared to Conventional Pellet Materials, ULTEM™ 1000P100 PEI Resin provides greater Flexibility in Manufacturing Methods, allowing Designers and Engineers to utilize Powder Processing for Complex Designs and specialized Fabrication Processes.
Supplied in Transparent Amber Base Color, the Material retains the characteristic Optical Identity of PEI while supporting Applications requiring specialized Processing Formats. This allows both Functional and Visual Consistency in engineered Components.
Typical Applications include Powder Coating, Additive Manufacturing, Aerospace Components, and High-Temperature Industrial Systems where Powder Form, Thermal Stability, and Mechanical Performance must be delivered together. ULTEM™ 1000P100 PEI Resin is not UL Rated, as the Formulation is optimized for Powder Processing and Application Flexibility rather than standard Flame Classification.
