Built-in Flame Retardancy with excellent Strength and Modulus at elevated Temperatures
ULTEM™ 1010 PEI Resin is a High-Performance, General-Purpose Thermoplastic engineered for applications requiring enhanced Flow, High Heat Resistance, and inherent Flame Retardancy. with a Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) of 217°C, it maintains Mechanical Integrity across Elevated Temperature Conditions.
The Amorphous PEI Structure provides High Strength, Stiffness, and Dimensional Stability, allowing components to perform reliably under continuous Thermal and Mechanical Stress. Its improved Flow characteristics enable easier Processing compared to standard Grades, supporting Complex Geometries and Thin-Wall applications.
ULTEM™ 1010 PEI Resin is inherently Flame Retardant and achieves UL94 V0 Ratedfrom 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm, without the use of Halogenated Additives. It also meets FAR 25.853 FST (Flame, Smoke, Toxicity) Requirements, making it suitable for Aerospace Interior and Safety-critical applications.
The material Demonstrates excellent Resistance to UV and Gamma Radiation, ensuring Stable Performance in Sterilization and Radiation-exposed Environments. It also offers a Wide Service Temperature range from -40°C to 180°C, supporting reliable use across Extreme Operating Conditions.
ULTEM™ 1010 PEI Resin provides High Light Transmittance in the Infrared Spectrum, enabling use in specialized Sensing and Optical applications. It is available in Transparent Amber or Opaque Colors, offering Design flexibility for Various Industries.
The Resin complies with Halogen-Free Standards including IEC 61249-2-21, IPC 4101E, and JEDEC JS709B, supporting Environmentally Conscious and Safety-Driven material selection.
This Unique ULTEM™ 1010 PEI Resin is Ideal for Aerospace Interiors, Electrical Insulation Systems, Connectors, Medical components, and High-Temperature Structural applications, where Flowability, Flame Resistance, and Thermal Stability are critical.
