ULTEM™ 2120. High Flow Formulated with 10% Glass Reinforced PEI Resin
excellent Dimension Stability, Strength, Stiffness & Creep Resistance
ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin, with 10% Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide is engineered to deliver reliable Strength and Dimensional Control in applications exposed to Heat and Mechanical Stress over extended Periods.
the ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin combines Reinforcement with a High Flow formulation, making it easier to process than Traditional Filled High Temperature Materials. Complex Geometries can be filled more effectively. Cycle stability improves during Molding, especially in Thin or Intricate Parts.
the Glass Reinforcement plays a critical role. ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin offers enhanced Stiffness and Strength, allowing components to resist deformation under sustained Load. This is supported by Strong Creep Resistance, which helps parts maintain Shape even during Long Term Mechanical Stress.
Thermal Performance remains a Foundation. with a Glass Transition Temperature of approximately 217 °C, ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin retains Structural Integrity in High Temperature Environments. Mechanical properties remain Stable where standard Plastics would Gradually Weaken.
ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin dimensional accuracy is another advantage. components Molded from show minimal Warpage and Stable Tolerances. This makes the material well suited for Precision applications where consistency over time is critical.
In Terms of Safety Performance, ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin is classified as UL94 V0, 0.50 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, allowing use in applications that require reliable Flame Resistance at Thin Wall Sections.
Typical uses include Structural Housings, Electrical components, High Temperature Connectors, and Load Bearing Assemblies, where Stiffness, Creep Resistance, and Thermal stability must Work Together.
Selecting ULTEM™ 2120 PEI Resin also reflects a Responsible material Decision. Its RoHS Compliant formulation support Environmentally Conscious Design while maintaining Advanced Engineering Performance.
