ULTEM™ 2200R 20% Glass Fiber Reinforced PEI Resin. Added Mold Release

Greater Rigidity. Improved Dimensional Stability and Standard Flow

ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic reinforced with 20% Glass Fiber, developed for Applications requiring stable Mechanical Strength and controlled Processing Behavior. With a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin maintains consistent Structural Performance in Environments exposed to sustained Thermal Conditions.

A balanced combination of Reinforcement and Process Stability defines the Material, where Standard Flow Characteristics allow predictable Molding Outcomes across a wide range of Production Conditions. This Stability ensures reliable Part Formation while maintaining the Rigidity and Stiffness expected from Glass-Reinforced PEI Materials.

Compared to Lower-Reinforced Grades, ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin provides higher Structural Stiffness and improved Dimensional Control, allowing Components to retain Shape under Mechanical Load and Long-Term Use. This makes the Material suitable for Structural Applications where Accuracy and Load-Bearing Capability remain Critical Requirements.

Processing Efficiency is supported by integrated Easy-Release Behavior, allowing smoother Demolding and reduced Surface Damage. This Feature enables more consistent Production Cycles and improved Part Quality, reducing Waste and supporting High-Volume Manufacturing Performance.

In addition to Mechanical Strength, ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin delivers strong Chemical Resistance, allowing Components to withstand exposure to Industrial Fluids and Cleaning Agents without Performance Degradation. Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow UL94 V0 Classification from 0.41 mm to 3.00 mm, supporting safe use in Applications requiring Fire Resistance.

availablein Opaque Colors, ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin is suited for Applications where Structural Reliability and Durability are prioritized over Transparency. Typical Applications include Structural Components, Housings, and Industrial Parts requiring consistent Mechanical Performance and Thermal Stability.

ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin provides a reliable balance of Reinforced Strength, predictable Processing, and Thermal Performance. With Chemical Durability, Flame Resistance, and RoHS Compliance, ULTEM™ 2200R PEI Resin supports General Engineering Applications where Stability and Reliability must be delivered together.
