ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Glass-Reinforced Engineering Thermoplastic containing 20% Glass Fiber, designed for Applications requiring High Rigidity, improved Flow, and excellent Dimensional Stability at Elevated Temperatures. With a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin maintains reliable Structural Performance under demanding Thermal and Mechanical Conditions.
The Glass-Reinforced Polyetherimide Structure in ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin provides High Stiffness, Increased Modulus, and reduced Creep, allowing Components to maintain Tight Tolerances under Continuous Load and Thermal Stress. This optimized Formulation reduces Warpage and improves Part Accuracy compared to Standard Unfilled Grades, making ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin suitable for Precision Applications where Stability remains Critical Requirements.
ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin offers enhanced Flow Characteristics compared to ULTEM™ 2200 and 1000 Series Resins, enabling easier Processing and efficient production of Complex and Thin-Walled Parts without compromising Mechanical Integrity. This balance of Rigidity and Processability allows ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin to support High-Efficiency Manufacturing Environments.
Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Ratedfrom 0.41 mm to 3.00 mm without Halogenated Additives, providing reliable Performance in Electrical, Electronic, and Industrial Applications requiring Flame Resistance. The material also maintains High Strength and Rigidity at Elevated Temperatures, delivering Long-Term Thermal Stability in continuous Operating Conditions.
As part of the ULTEM™ 2000 Series, ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin offers superior Stiffness and Dimensional Stability compared to the ULTEM™ 1000 Series, making it suitable for Structural and Load-Bearing Components. The increased Glass Fiber Content enhances Mechanical Performance while supporting Manufacturing Efficiency through improved Material Flow.
ULTEM™ 2210 PEI Resin is available in Opaque Colors and is widely used in Electrical Components, Industrial Parts, Housings, and Precision-Molded Applications where Strength, Stability, and Processability must be delivered together.
