ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin is tailored for applications that demand controlled Dimensional Accuracy with Efficient Processing. Built on a 20% Milled Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide Platform, this Grade delivers a Steady balance between Rigidity and Flow Performance.

The Unique ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin uses milled Glass Fibers to improve Stiffness while preserving Surface Quality and Moldability. The Reinforcement Strengthens Structural response under Load, while the Finer Fiber Structure helps reduce Surface Irregularities compared to Coarser Reinforcements.

ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin offers High Flow Characteristics, allowing easier Filling of Intricate Cavities. Thin Sections Form with fewer Defects. Cycle consistency improves during Molding Operations.

Thermal Performance is Stable at elevated Temperature. ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin maintains a Glass Transition Temperature Near 217 °C, allowing components to retain Mechanical Integrity under Prolonged Heat Exposure.

Parts Molded from ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin Show reduced Warpage and improved Tolerance stability when compared to unfilled PEI Grades, including the ULTEM™ 1000 Series.

ULTEM™ 2212R PEI Resin meets UL94 V0, 0.41 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, supporting applications that require High Flame Resistance at Relatively Thin Wall Sections.

The material is supplied in Opaque Form, maintaining consistent appearance across production Runs while supporting Structural Applications.

Typical uses include Precision Housings, Electrical Components, Structural Molded Parts, and High Temperature Assemblies, where Stability, Flow, and Rigidity must Work Together within Tight Tolerances.
