Excellent Dimension Stability, Strength, UL94 V0 & Creep Resistance
ULTEM™ 2220 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Reinforced with 20% Glass Fiber, Designed for applications requiring High Flow, Enhanced Rigidity, and inherent Flame Retardancy without added FR Modifiers. With a High Glass Transition Temperature, it maintains Mechanical Integrity under Elevated Temperature Conditions.
The Glass-reinforced PEI Structure provides High Stiffness, Increased Modulus, and improved Dimensional Stability, allowing components to maintain Tight Tolerances under Mechanical Load and Thermal Stress. Compared to Lower Glass content Grades, it delivers improved Structural Performance.
ULTEM™ 2220 PEI Resin offers enhanced Flow characteristics, enabling easier Processing and improved Mold Filling for Complex and Thin-walled Parts. This improves manufacturing efficiency while maintaining Reinforced Mechanical Properties.
The material achieves inherent Flame Retardancy without the use of added FR Modifiers, supporting Clean material formulation while still delivering reliable Safety Performance.
ULTEM™ 2220 PEI Resin achieves Ul94 V0 Ratedfrom 0.50 mm to 3.00 mm, Providing High-level Flame Resistance suitable for Electrical and Industrial applications.
The Resin delivers High Strength, Excellent Dimensional Stability, and Good Creep Resistance, Ensuring Long-term reliability in demanding Environments.
ULTEM™ 2220 PEI Resin is available in Opaque or Custom Colors, Offering Design flexibility while maintaining consistent Mechanical and Thermal Performance.
The Resin is Part of the ULTEM™ 2000 Series, offering improved Rigidity and Dimensional Stability compared to ULTEM™ 1000 Series, Making it suitable for Precision and Structural applications.
ULTEM™ 2220 PEI Resin is RoHS Compliant, supporting Environmentally Responsible material selection while delivering Reinforced High-Performance characteristics.
