ULTEM™ 2310 PEI Resin is developed for applications where Certification, Strength, and Dimensional Control must align under demanding Conditions. As a 30% Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide, this Grade is positioned for Structural Performance in Environments that require both Reliability and Compliance.
The Unique ULTEM™ 2310 PEI Resin meets FAR 25.853 requirements, making it suitable for Aerospace and Transportation applications where Flame, Smoke, and Toxicity Performance are Critical. This Certification support use in Regulated Environments where material Selection must meet Strict Safety Standards.
ULTEM™ 2310 PEI Resin delivers High Stiffness with reduced deformation under Load. components maintain Shape even during extended Exposure to Stress. Dimensional stability improves compared to Unfilled Grades, especially when compared to ULTEM™ 1000 Series.
Processing is supported by an improved High Flow Formulation, allowing the material to Fill Complex Geometries more efficiently. This helps maintain consistency in Molding while preserving the benefits of High Glass Loading.
ULTEM™ 2310 PEI Resin features a Glass Transition Temperature of approximately 217 °C, enabling Stable Mechanical Performance in High Temperature Environments. Structural Integrity is retained even under Prolonged Heat Exposure.
From a Safety Standpoint, ULTEM™ 2310 PEI Resin is Classified as UL94 V0, 0.25 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, supporting use in applications requiring Flame Resistance at Thin Wall Sections.
Typical applications include Aerospace Interior Components, Structural Housings, Electrical Systems, and High Precision Assemblies, where Strength, Compliance, and Dimensional Accuracy must Work Together.
