ULTEM™ 2310EPR PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic reinforced with 30% Glass Fiber, developed for Applications requiring Structural Strength and advanced Surface Functionality. ULTEM™ 2310EPR PEI Resin integrates enhanced Electroplating Capability with improved Flow Performance, allowing reliable Processing and stable Performance in demanding Thermal Environments supported by a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C.
A defining characteristic of ULTEM™ 2310EPR PEI Resin is its ability to combine Mechanical Reinforcement with Surface Treatment Compatibility. Within the ULTEM Material Family, this Grade extends beyond standard Reinforced Options by delivering improved Plating Adhesion alongside efficient Processing Behavior, supporting Applications where both Strength and Surface Integration are Critical Requirements.
The specialized Formulation enables significantly improved Electroplating Performance, allowing stronger Adhesion for Metallic Coatings compared to conventional Grades. This Characteristic makes ULTEM™ 2310EPR PEI Resin suitable for Components requiring Decorative Finishes or Functional Conductive Layers, while maintaining Structural Integrity. At the same time, enhanced Flow Characteristics support efficient Molding of Complex Geometries with consistent Quality.
Processing Advantages include Internal Mold Release Capability, allowing smoother Part Ejection and reduced Friction during Manufacturing.
