ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin is engineered for applications that demand a refined balance between Flow, Stiffness, and Dimensional Stability. This 30% Milled Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide Introduces improved Process ability while maintaining Strong Structural Integrity.
The Unique ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin uses Milled Glass Fibbers to enhance Rigidity and Stiffness without significantly compromising Surface Quality or Flow behaviour. The Result is a material that support Structural Performance while remaining easier to Mold compared to Traditional High Glass Formulations.
ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin Demonstrates improved Flow characteristics, allowing more efficient Filling of Complex Geometries. This helps reduce Molding Challenges in Intricate or Thin Wall Parts while maintaining consistent Part Formation.
Thermal capability remains a Core Strength. ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin features a Glass Transition Temperature of approximately 217 °C, enabling components to maintain Mechanical Performance in Elevated Temperature Environments. Strength is retained even during prolonged Heat exposure.
Dimensional Control is further improved when compared to standard Unfilled PEI Grades. ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin Minimizes Warpage and maintains Tight Tolerances, making it suitable for Precision critical applications.
ULTEM™ 2312 PEI Resin is classified as UL94-V0, 0.81 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, supporting use in applications requiring Flame Resistance at relatively Thin Sections.
Typical uses include Precision Housings, Electrical components, Structural Parts, and High Temperature Assemblies, where Rigidity, Flow Performance, and Dimensional stability must Work Together.
