Maximum Rigidity, Thermal Stability, and Structural Performance for Extreme Applications

ULTEM™ 2400 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Reinforced with 40% Glass Fiber, designed for applications requiring Maximum Rigidity, Outstanding Dimensional Stability, and High-Temperature Structural Performance. With a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, it maintains Mechanical Integrity under Extreme Thermal Conditions.

The Highly Reinforced PEI Structure provides Exceptional Stiffness, Very High Modulus, and Superior Dimensional Control, enabling components to withstand Heavy Mechanical Loads and maintain Tight Tolerances over time. It is optimized for Structural and Load-Bearing applications in demanding Environments.

ULTEM™ 2400 PEI Resin meets FAR 25.853 FST Requirements, supporting use in Aerospace Interior and Safety-critical applications. It also achieves UL94 V0 Ratedfrom 0.25 mm to 3.00 mm, delivering High-Level Flame Retardant Performance without the use of Additional Flame Retardant Modifiers.

The material provides excellent Heat Resistance, Long-Term Creep Resistance, and Mechanical Stability, ensuring reliable Performance in continuous High-Temperature Operation. The High Glass content further enhances Structural Strength compared to Lower Reinforced Grades.

ULTEM™ 2400 PEI Resin maintains consistent Processing with standard Flow characteristics, allowing manufacturing of Precision components while Retaining Reinforced Mechanical Advantages.

The Resin is available in Opaque Custom Colors, supporting applications that require Structural Performance with Design flexibility.

ULTEM™ 2400 PEI Resin Belongs to the ULTEM™ 2000 Series, offering Highest Rigidity and Dimensional Stability compared to ULTEM™ 1000 Series, making it Ideal for Advanced Structural applications.
