ULTEM™ AUT200G4 PEI Blend Resin Is Tailored For Automotive Lighting Applications That Demand A Combination Of Structural Strength And Optical Surface Control. Reinforced With 20% Glass Fiber, It Brings Added rigidity while maintaining the processability needed for precision components.
In lighting systems, parts are often exposed to both heat and strict dimensional requirements. This grade responds well by holding shape under thermal load, thanks to its 217°C glass transition temperature, while still allowing efficient molding of complex designs.
ULTEM™ AUT200G4 PEI Blend Resin Provides Enhanced Flow Behavior Compared To Typical Reinforced Grades, making it easier to fill intricate molds without sacrificing dimensional control. This becomes especially valuable in thin-wall reflector designs.
Surface finish plays a critical role in lighting Performance, especially where metallization is involved. The formulation supports consistent surface quality that enables reflective coatings to adhere effectively, helping achieve uniform light reflection.
