ULTEM™ AUT200G6 PEI Resin Extends the Performance of Optical Materials into Structural Territory. developed for Automotive Lighting Systems, this 30% Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide Blend is designed to Support components that must maintain Shape while still delivering controlled Reflective Performance.

this PEI Resin adds Rigidity where Optical Plastics typically Fall Short. The 30% Glass Reinforcement increases Stiffness, allowing Larger or more Complex Lighting Parts to resist deformation under Thermal and Mechanical Stress. This is especially important in Assemblies where alignment directly affects Light Output.

ULTEM™ AUT200G6 PEI Resin features enhanced Flow, enabling the material to Fill Detailed Molds with better consistency. This support precise Geometries required for Reflector Housings and Structural Optical components.

Surface Performance is engineered for Metallization. ULTEM™ AUT200G6 PEI Resin provides a Stable Substrate for Reflective Coatings, supporting High Reflectivity Finishes used in Automotive Lighting Systems. This allows Structural Parts to Double as Functional Optical Elements.

ULTEM™ AUT200G6 PEI Resin Operates with a Glass Transition Temperature of approximately 217 °C, maintaining Dimensional stability even under continuous Heat from Light Sources and Engine Environments.

the material is supplied in Opaque Colors, suitable for Structural and Reflective applications where Transparency is not required.

Typical uses include Automotive Reflectors, Lighting Housings, Structural supports, and Metallized components, where Stiffness, Heat Resistance, and Reflective Performance must Work Together in a single material System.
