ULTEM™ CRS5111 10% Glass Reinforced, Chemical Resistance PEI Resin

ULTEM™ CRS5111 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic reinforced with 10% Glass Fiber, designed for Applications requiring a combination of Chemical Resistance and Structural Strength. ULTEM™ CRS5111 PEI Resin maintains Corrosion Resistance while providing added Mechanical Reinforcement, supporting reliable Performance in Environments where Chemical Exposure and Physical Load occur simultaneously.

The Material demonstrates strong Resistance to Acids, Bases, Aromatics, and Ketones, allowing Components to operate in harsh Chemical Conditions without Degradation. At the same time, the Glass Fiber Reinforcement allows improved Dimensional Stability, ensuring Components maintain Shape and Alignment under Mechanical Stress.

Enhanced Flow Characteristics allow ULTEM™ CRS5111 PEI Resin to support efficient Processing compared to traditional Reinforced Chemical-Resistant Grades. This Processing Advantage enables consistent Molding of Complex Geometries and Precision Components where Tight Tolerances remain Critical Requirements.

The Reinforced Structure provides increased Stiffness and improved Load-Bearing Capability, allowing Components such as Housings, Fittings, and Structural Parts to maintain Performance in Chemical Processing Systems. This Mechanical Stability supports reliable Operation in demanding Industrial Applications.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ CRS5111 PEI Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm without Halogenated Additives, supporting safe Performance in Applications requiring both Chemical Durability and Flame Resistance.

Thermal Stability remains a key advantage, allowing ULTEM™ CRS5111 PEI Resin to perform under Elevated Temperature Conditions without loss of Mechanical or Chemical Performance. This ensures long-term Reliability in environments combining Heat, Chemical Exposure, and Structural Load.
