ULTEM™ CRS5201R Chemical Resistance 20% Glass Reinforced, PEI Resin

ULTEM™ Crs5201r Pei Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide material designed for applications that require a combination of Chemical Resistance, Structural Strength, and Process Stability. It Extends the Crs Platform into more Mechanically Demanding Environments.

In Many Industrial Systems, Materials are not only exposed to Aggressive Chemicals but also Mechanical Load. This Grade Addresses both by offering Resistance to Strong Acids, Bases, Aromatics, and Ketones, while maintaining Structural Integrity in Service.

ULTEM™ Crs5201r Pei Resin uses a standard Flow formulation Coupled with Internal Mold Release, allowing Predictable Processing behavior and easier Part Ejection without Sacrificing Consistency.

The Addition of Glass Reinforcement enhances Stiffness and Dimensional Stability, making components Less Prone to deformation over time, especially under Thermal Cycling or continuous Stress.

ULTEM™ Crs5201r Pei Resin meets Ul94 V0 Rated from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, ensuring reliable Flame Performance alongside its Chemical Resistance Profile.

From a Thermal Standpoint, the material retains the Inherent Heat Resistance Characteristic of Pei, allowing it to Function Reliably in Elevated Temperature Environments.

ULTEM™ Crs5201r Pei Resin is Available in Transparent Amber or Opaque Variants, offering flexibility for applications requiring Visual Inspection, Fluid Visibility, or Purely Structural Performance.

In practical use, this material enables Stronger, Longer-Lasting components in Chemically Aggressive Environments, especially where Parts must also maintain Shape, Strength, and Repeatable Manufacturability.
