ULTEM™ CRS5311 Chemical Resistance 30% Glass Reinforced, PEI Resin

Improved Flow Formulated. High Heat, Hydrolytic and Chemical Stability

ULTEM™ CRS5311 PEI Resin Is A 30% Glass Reinforced Polyetherimide Material Developed For Applications That Demand Maximum Structural Strength While Maintaining Excellent Chemical Resistance. It Extends The CRS Portfolio Toward High-Performance, Production-Efficient Solutions.

In aggressive industrial environments, materials are often pushed by both chemical exposure and mechanical stress simultaneously. This grade is engineered to handle such conditions by resisting strong acids, bases, aromatics, and ketones, helping ensure long-term reliability.

ULTEM™ CRS5311 PEI Resin Features A High Flow Formulation, allowing easier processing compared to standard 30% reinforced grades. This supports the molding of intricate parts or thicker sections with improved consistency.

Its 30% glass fiber content contributes significantly to stiffness and structural integrity, making the material suitable for components that must remain dimensionally stable under load and temperature fluctuations.
ULTEM™ CRS5311 PEI Resin meets UL94 V0 RatedFrom 1.50 mm To 3.00 mm, delivering reliable flame resistance alongside its chemical durability.

Processing advantages are further enhanced by stable melt behavior, helping reduce variability and improve repeatability across high-volume production environments.
ULTEM™ CRS5311 PEI Resin Is Offered In Transparent Amber or Opaque Options, giving engineers flexibility for applications that require either functional transparency or purely structural Performance.

From a practical standpoint, this enables the production of high-strength, chemically resistant components that are easier to process at scale—bridging Performance and manufacturing efficiency in demanding environments.

RoHS Compliance Supports Responsible Material Use, while the formulation continues to deliver consistent Performance in harsh industrial systems.
