ULTEM™ DT1810EV Non Reinforced Transparent, High Heat PEI Blend Resin

Easy Release, Unique Improved Ductility and Enhanced Hydrostability

ULTEM™ DT1810EV PEI Blend Resin is a Transparent Polyetherimide-Based Optical Material designed for Applications where controlled Light Transmission, High Thermal Stability, and enhanced Toughness are required. This Material supports advanced Optical Systems by combining Optical Functionality with durable Mechanical Performance under demanding Conditions.

A distinctive aspect of ULTEM™ DT1810EV PEI Blend Resin lies in its selective Optical Behavior. The Material enables high Transmission in the Infrared Range while limiting Transmission in the Visible Spectrum, allowing precise Control of Light Interaction in Systems such as Sensors and Communication Devices. This Optical Selectivity supports improved Signal Accuracy and Functional Efficiency.

Mechanical Properties are tailored to address typical limitations of Optical Materials. Increased Ductility and improved Impact Resistance allow Components to withstand Mechanical Stress without Brittle Failure, ensuring reliable Performance in delicate or High-Precision Designs.

Performance Stability under Moisture Exposure is another key capability. Enhanced Hydrolytic Stability allows the Material to maintain Optical and Structural Integrity in Humid Conditions, Washdown Environments, and repeated Exposure to Moisture without degradation.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ DT1810EV PEI Blend Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Rating at 3.00 mm, supporting Application Requirements where Fire Safety and Optical Performance must coexist.

Processing Behavior remains consistent, allowing stable Melt Flow and reliable Clarity during Molding. This enables precise Manufacturing of Lenses, Optical Interconnect Components, and other High-Detail Parts where Surface Quality and Optical Accuracy are essential.

The Transparent Formulation supports Applications requiring controlled Light Transmission, enabling Designers to optimize Optical Performance without compromising Mechanical Strength or Thermal Reliability.

Typical Applications include IR Sensors, Optical Transceivers, and Photonic Components where Optical Selectivity, Dimensional Stability, and Mechanical Durability must be delivered together.
