ULTEM™ EXUM0287 Non Reinforced, Polyetherimide. High Flow Formulated

Transparent with a Glass Transition Temperature Strength (Tg) of 217°C

ULTEM™ EXUM0287 PEI Resin is designed as a Multi-Functional Engineering Material, combining Thermal Stability, Electrical Insulation, and consistent Processing Performance within a Transparent Polyetherimide Platform. It supports Applications where multiple Performance requirements must be achieved together without relying on highly specialized Materials.

Under Thermal Load, the Material maintains Mechanical Strength and Stiffness up to its Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, allowing Components to perform reliably in Elevated Temperature Conditions. This stability ensures that Structural Integrity is preserved even when exposed to sustained Heat during Operation.

Processing behavior is optimized through enhanced Flow Characteristics, enabling efficient Mold Filling for Complex Geometries and detailed Features. This allows Manufacturers to achieve consistent Dimensional Accuracy and repeatable Part Quality across Production Cycles.

Electrical Performance is a strong functional advantage, with good Insulation Properties supporting Applications such as Connectors, Housings, and Electrical Components where Reliability and Safety remain Critical Requirements.
