ULTEM™ HU1000 PEI Resin Is A Medical-Grade Polyetherimide Material Designed For Applications Requiring Biocompatibility, Sterilization Resistance, And Reliable Performance In Healthcare Environments. It Is Developed To Meet The Demands Of Medical Devices And Pharmaceutical Systems.

In regulated applications, material selection is often driven by compliance requirements. This grade meets ISO 10993 And USP Class VI Standards, ensuring suitability for components that come into direct or indirect contact with patients or pharmaceutical processes.

ULTEM™ HU1000 PEI Resin Supports A Wide Range Of Sterilization Methods, Including Steam, Gamma Radiation, Ethylene Oxide (EtO), Hydrogen Peroxide, UV‑C, And E‑Beam, allowing repeated sterilization cycles without significant degradation of material properties.

Chemical resistance is another important factor in medical environments. The material offers good resistance to cleaning agents and disinfectants, helping maintain long-term integrity in frequently sanitized systems.

ULTEM™ HU1000 PEI Resin Is Inherently Flame Retardant And Achieves UL94 V0 RatedFrom 0.75 mm To 3.00 mm, supporting safety requirements alongside its medical-grade Performance.

From a processing standpoint, the resin provides stable molding characteristics and consistent dimensional behavior, enabling reliable production of precision medical components.

ULTEM™ HU1000 PEI Resin Is availableIn Transparent Amber or Opaque Options, supporting both visibility-based designs and structural medical applications.
