ULTEM™ HU1000E PEI Resin is developed for applications in Medical and Pharmaceutical Environments, where material reliability must remain consistent under repeated Sterilization. This Non Reinforced Polyetherimide delivers Stable Mechanical Performance while supporting Strict Healthcare Requirements.
This Advance ULTEM™ HU1000E PEI Resin performs Consistently across Multiple Sterilization Cycles, maintaining its Structural Integrity without Significant degradation. This makes the material suitable for components that must Endure repeated exposure to Cleaning and Sterilization Processes.
Processing Efficiency is improved through added easy Release characteristics. Parts Ejected from Molds Show Clean Surface Quality with reduced Sticking, helping maintain consistency during manufacturing and Protecting critical Geometries.
ULTEM™ HU1000E PEI Resin follows a standard Flow Profile, allowing Predictable Molding of Precision components. Dimensional Control is maintained, which is important for Medical Devices with Tight Tolerances.
Material Qualification is a Defining feature. ULTEM™ HU1000E PEI Resin meets USP Class VI Requirements, supporting its use in Healthcare applications where Biological Compatibility Testing is required for Indirect Medical Contact.
Thermal Performance remains aligned with the PEI Platform. The material retains Strength at Elevated Temperatures, allowing components to operate reliably during Sterilization and in demanding Service Conditions.
Available in Transparent Amber and Opaque Color options, ULTEM™ HU1000E PEI Resin support both Visible components and Functional Internal Parts within Medical Systems.
Typical applications include Medical Device components, Pharmaceutical Processing Equipment, Diagnostic Housings, and Sterilisable Assemblies, where Durability, Cleanliness, and Regulatory Acceptance must Work Together.
