ULTEM™ HU2100 PEI Resin brings together Medical-Grade Reliability and Reinforced Mechanical Performance through a 10% Glass Fiber Structure. Designed for Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Applications, the Material supports consistent Behavior in demanding Environments where Sterilization Resistance and Dimensional Stability remain Critical Requirements.

Processing consistency is a defining feature, as Standard Flow Characteristics allow predictable Molding Performance across a Wide range of Component Designs. This Stability enables efficient Production while maintaining uniform Part Quality, making ULTEM™ HU2100 PEI Resin suitable for controlled Manufacturing Environments requiring repeatable Results.

Glass Reinforcement provides a moderate increase in Stiffness and Structural Strength, allowing Components to maintain Shape under Mechanical Load. At the same time, the balanced Formulation preserves good Processability, ensuring that Complex Medical Components can be produced without excessive Difficulty or Defect Risk.

Repeated Sterilization Exposure is handled effectively due to strong Thermal and Hydrolytic Stability. ULTEM™ HU2100 PEI Resin maintains Mechanical Integrity when subjected to Steam, Gamma, and Chemical Sterilization Methods, allowing long-term Performance in Applications where Hygiene and Reusability are essential.

Chemical Resistance further supports durability, as the Material withstands exposure to Disinfectants, Cleaning Agents, and Pharmaceutical Substances without significant Degradation. This ensures reliable Operation in Environments where frequent Cleaning and Chemical Contact are unavoidable.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow UL94 V0 Classification from 0.41 mm to 3.00 mm, supporting Safety Requirements in Medical and Laboratory Systems. These Characteristics ensure stable Performance under Conditions requiring both Fire Safety and Material Integrity.
