ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin, 20% Glass Reinforced. Higher Flow Formulated

Durable Performance in Complex Thin-Wall Geometries

ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Reinforced with 20% Glass Fiber, developed for Thin-Wall applications requiring enhanced Flow, Structural Strength, and Precision Molding Performance. ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin maintains Mechanical Stability under Elevated Temperature Conditions, supported by a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, enabling reliable use in demanding Thermal Environments.

Advancing within the SF Series, ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin focuses on Processing Optimization, where Improved Flow behaviour allows efficient Filling of Complex and Ultra-Thin Geometries. This enhanced Moldability supports consistent material Distribution, reducing Risks of Incomplete Filling and ensuring High-Quality Surface Definition in Precision Components.

Compared to Structural-Focused Grades within the Broader ULTEM Portfolio, this material Emphasizes Processing Efficiency and Thin-Wall Manufacturing Capability. The combination of Flow performance and Reinforcement allows ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin to maintain Structural Integrity while enabling Advanced Design flexibility for Intricate Part Geometries.

An Integrated Easy-Release Characteristic supports Smoother Demolding and reduced Surface Adhesion, allowing Improved Cycle Stability and consistent Part Quality. This Processing Advantage helps maintain Dimensional Accuracy and reduces Risk of Defects during Production, especially in High-Volume Manufacturing Environments.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Rating from 1.50 mm to 1.65 mm, ensuring reliable Flame Resistance in applications requiring material Safety. The material also provides Dependable Chemical Resistance and Thermal Stability, supporting performance under Industrial Operating Conditions.

Enhanced Flow capability allows Designers to develop Lightweight and Thin components without Compromising Mechanical Strength. This enables efficient use in applications requiring Compact Design, Precision Assembly, and consistent Structural Performance.

Available in Opaque Formulations, ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin is optimized for applications where Dimensional Control, Processing Efficiency, and Structural reliability are prioritized. Typical applications include Electronics Components, Aerospace Parts, and Precision Engineering Systems requiring Thin-Wall Design and consistent Performance.

ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin delivers a refined combination of High Flow Performance, Reinforced Mechanical Properties, and Thermal Stability. With Strong Processing Characteristics, Flame Resistance, and RoHS Compliance, ULTEM™ SF2260 PEI Resin supports Advanced Engineering applications where Precision and Efficiency must be Delivered Together.
