ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin, 30% Glass Reinforced. High Flow Formulated

Precision Thin-Wall Performance with Consistent Rigidity

ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic reinforced with 30% Glass Fiber, developed for Thin-Wall Applications requiring High Rigidity and improved Flow Performance. ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin maintains consistent Mechanical Behavior under Elevated Temperature Conditions, supported by a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, enabling reliable use in demanding Thermal Environments.

A defining characteristic of ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin is its ability to balance Structural Strength with efficient Moldability. The increased Glass Content provides enhanced Stiffness and Dimensional Stability, allowing Components to retain Shape under Mechanical Load, while the optimized Flow Profile allows effective Filling of Thin Sections and Complex Geometries.

Within the SF Material Family, ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin represents a shift toward higher Reinforcement while maintaining Processing Capability. Compared to Lower-Reinforced Grades designed for Surface Treatments or moderate Flow, this Material prioritizes Structural Integrity while still delivering sufficient Flow for Precision Molding Applications.

The enhanced Flow Behavior allows improved Material Distribution inside complex Molds, reducing risk of incomplete Filling and supporting better Surface Definition. This enables Components to achieve Tight Dimensional Accuracy, making ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin suitable for Applications requiring both Precision and Load-Bearing Strength.

An integrated Easy-Release Characteristic supports smoother Demolding and reduces Adhesion during Processing, allowing improved Surface Quality and more consistent Production Cycles. This Processing Stability reduces Manufacturing Interruptions and supports efficient High-Volume Production.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ SF2350 PEI Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Rating from 1.50 mm to 1.60 mm, supporting Applications requiring Flame Resistance and Material Safety. The Material also demonstrates reliable Chemical Resistance and Thermal Stability, ensuring Durability in Industrial Environments.
