ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin, 30% Glass Reinforced. Higher Flow Formulated

Developed for demanding Thin Wall applications with Good Rigidity

ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin is a High-Performance Engineering Thermoplastic reinforced with 30% Glass Fiber, engineered to deliver a combination of High Rigidity and enhanced Flow for Thin-Wall Molding Applications. ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin maintains Mechanical Integrity under Elevated Temperature Conditions, supported by a Glass Transition Temperature of 217°C, making it suitable for demanding Thermal Environments.

Developed as an advancement within the SF Series, the Material bridges the gap between Reinforcement and Processability. Compared to earlier Grades, the increased Glass Content combined with improved Flow Behavior allows ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin to support Structural Applications where both Stiffness and Moldability remain Critical Requirements.

The enhanced Flow Profile enables efficient Distribution of Material within Complex Mold Geometries, reducing the risk of incomplete Filling and improving Surface Definition. This allows Components to achieve precise Dimensional Accuracy while maintaining Load-Bearing Capability, supporting High-Precision Engineering Designs.

Processing Efficiency is further supported by an Easy-Release Formulation, allowing smoother Demolding and reduced risk of Part Distortion. This contributes to consistent Manufacturing Performance, improved Cycle Stability, and reduced Production Interruptions in High-Volume Environments.

Inherent Flame Retardant Properties allow ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin to achieve UL94 V0 Rating within a thickness range of 1.50 mm to 1.60 mm, supporting safe use in Applications requiring Flame Resistance. The Material also demonstrates strong Resistance to Heat and Chemical Exposure, ensuring Durability under challenging Operating Conditions.

availablein Transparent Amber and Opaque Color Options, ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin allows flexibility for Designs requiring both Functional Performance and Visual Considerations. The Material maintains stable Dimensional Behavior under Stress, supporting reliable Performance in Precision Assemblies.

ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin provides a balanced solution combining High Reinforcement, improved Flow Performance, and consistent Processing Behavior. With strong Thermal Stability, Flame Resistance, and RoHS Compliance, ULTEM™ SF2360 PEI Resin supports advanced Engineering Applications requiring Thin-Wall Design and Structural Reliability.
