ULTEM™ XP110 Foam. Non Reinforced 100 kg/m³. Outstanding Lighweight

Superior Flame, Smoke & Toxicity Performance. Good Chemical Resistance

ULTEM™ XP110 PEI Foam is a Non Reinforced Superior Lightweight Material for Aerospace, Transportation or Unique Applications

It's has a Density of 100 kg/m³ & Passed FAR 25.853. Low Moisture Absorption, Does Not Foster Mold or Fungus Growth

ULTEM XP110 Foam offers Radar Transparency, Structural Fire Performance, and/or Extreme Hot and Cold Environments. It is Compatible with Many Different Types of Adhesives, including Commercial Melt Adhesives, Phenolic Adhesives, and LEXAN™ FST Material for OSU Compliance.

It is from ULTEM™ XP Series, Non-Reinforced Amorphous Thermoplastic Polyetherimide (PEI) Foam. A Lightweight Material with Superior Flame, Smoke, and Toxicity Properties and an Excellent Candidate as a Core for High-Performance Composite Systems. Based on an Amorphous, Transparent, Amber, Polyetherimide Thermoplastic, ULTEM Foam offers Outstanding Heat Resistance, High Strength, and Modulus and Broad Chemical Resistance

ULTEM™ Polyetherimide Foam offers

- High Strength to Weight Ratio, with Predictable Stiffness and strength up to 200° Celsius.

- Long-Term Heat Resistance, thus Achieving Excellent Stability of Mechanical and Physical Properties at Elevated Temperatures due to High Glass Transition Temperature of 217 °C. Available Relative Thermal Indices (RTI) up to 180° Celsius

- High Dimensional Stability offers Predictability over a Wide Temperature Range. Filled Grades offer Exceptionally High Tolerance Dimensional Capabilities.

- Environmental Stress & Cracking Resistance. Unlike Most Other Amorphous Thermoplastics,

- Flammability, Smoke Generation, and Toxicity Inherent Flame Resistance without Additives in Most Grades. Exceptionally Difficult to Ignite, with A Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) Of 47%. Meeting UL94 V0 Specifications in Sections As Thin As 0.41 mm. Generates Extremely Low Smoke per NBS Smoke Evolution Test, with Products of Combustion No More Toxic than Those of Wood.

- Radar Transparent, with Low Dielectrics Properties, making it a Good Choice for Radome Applications

- Low Moisture Absorption. Dimensionally Stable Compared to PES or PMI Foam Core Materials

- Multiple Conversion Processes can be Machined, Thermoformed, or Compression Molded, Selecting the Most Cost-Effective Conversion Process for Your Application

- Compatible with Laminates. Able to Combined with Thermoplastic, Thermoset, or Metal Laminates to Create a Customizable Composite System
