VALOX™ 357M Resin is an Impact-Modified Flame-Retardant PBT+PC Blend developed for applications requiring a combination of Toughness, Flame Resistance, Extrusion Capability, and improved Manufacturing Efficiency. Designed as a specialized Grade within the VALOX™ Portfolio, this material features an Opaque Color formulation and incorporates Mold Release Technology to support Smoother Processing and consistent Production Performance.

The Resin combines the Chemical Resistance, Dimensional Stability, and Thermal performance of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) with the Toughness and Impact Resistance of Polycarbonate (PC). This balanced material Structure enables VALOX™ 357M to deliver reliable Mechanical performance while maintaining excellent Structural Integrity under demanding Operating Conditions.

A Distinguishing Feature of VALOX™ 357M Resin is its suitability for Extrusion Processing. The High-Performance formulation provides stable Processing Characteristics, while the added Mold Release Package helps Improve Part Release, reduce Cycle Interruptions, and Enhance Production Efficiency. These Benefits can contribute to improved Surface Quality and more consistent Manufacturing Results.

The material is supplied as an Opaque Flame-Retardant Grade, making it suitable for applications where Appearance, Safety, and performance must be achieved simultaneously. Its Impact-Modified formulation further enhances Toughness, helping components Resist Damage from Handling, Assembly, and Operational Stresses.

As a Limited-Use Specialty Grade, VALOX™ 357M is often selected when a combination of Flame Retardancy, Impact Performance, Extrusion Capability, and enhanced Processing characteristics is required. The Result is a Versatile Engineering material Capable of supporting both Manufacturing Productivity and Long-Term Product Reliability.
