VALOX™ 357U Resin is an Advanced Impact-Modified Flame-Retardant PBT+PC Blend engineered for applications that demand a combination of excellent Chemical Resistance, UV Durability, Impact Strength, and Fire Safety Performance. Developed for the Electrical and Industrial Sectors, this Specialty Grade combines the Inherent Strengths of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) and Polycarbonate (PC) to deliver reliable performance in demanding Indoor and Outdoor Environments.

One of the Key Advantages of VALOX™ 357U is its enhanced Chemical Resistance. The material Performs well in the Presence of Oils, Greases, Cleaning Agents, and various Industrial Chemicals, helping components maintain their Mechanical Integrity and appearance over Extended Service Periods. This Durability makes the Resin particularly suitable for applications exposed to Challenging Operating Conditions.

Unlike standard Impact-Modified Grades, VALOX™ 357U Resin incorporates an added UV Stabilizer, providing improved Resistance to Ultraviolet Exposure. This Feature helps Minimize Discoloration, Surface Degradation, and Property Loss caused by Long-Term exposure to Sunlight or other UV Sources. As a Result, Molded Parts can retain their appearance and performance even in Environments where Weatherability is an important Consideration.

The Polycarbonate Component contributes excellent Toughness, while the Impact-Modified formulation further enhances Resistance to Mechanical Shock and Handling Damage.
