VALOX™ 359 Resin is a General-Purpose Flame-Retardant Semi-Crystalline PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) Resin developed to deliver a balanced combination of Low Warpage, High Heat Performance, Thermal Stability, and Chemical Resistance. As a Versatile Engineering Material, this Grade offers a range of Value-Added properties that make it suitable for manufacturers seeking Dependable performance across a Wide Variety of Industrial and Electrical applications.
The Semi-Crystalline Polyester Structure of VALOX™ 359 provides excellent Dimensional Stability and Mechanical Integrity. a Key Advantage of this Grade is its Low-Warpage Formulation, which helps Minimize Distortion during Molding and Cooling. This allows manufacturers to achieve Better Dimensional Accuracy, improved Assembly Fit, and greater Consistency in finished Parts.
In addition to Dimensional Stability, VALOX™ 359 Resin offers good Thermal performance and High Heat Resistance. Components Molded from this material are Capable of maintaining Structural Integrity and performance when exposed to Elevated Operating Temperatures, making the Resin suitable for applications where Thermal reliability is an important Design Requirement.
The material also Exhibits excellent Chemical Resistance, Performing well against a Variety of Oils, Greases, Fuels, Cleaning Agents, and Industrial Chemicals. This Resistance helps Extend Product Life and preserve Functionality in demanding Operating Environments where exposure to Aggressive Substances may occur.
For Processors, VALOX™ 359 provides good Molding characteristics and reliable Production Consistency. Its combination of Low Warpage, Chemical Durability, and Thermal Stability allows Designers to develop components that remain dimensionally accurate while Meeting Everyday performance Requirements.
