VALOX™ 4012G PBT Resin is a 10% Glass Reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) Material engineered to provide a Balanced Combination of Mechanical Strength, Improved Ductility, and Stable processing performance for a broad range of Engineering applications.

The controlled level of Glass Reinforcement enhances Stiffness and Dimensional Stability while preserving Ductility, allowing the material to Absorb Impact Rnergy more Effectively than Higher Glass Filled Grades. This improved Ductility supports Resistance to Cracking and Brittle Failure, enabling components to maintain Structural Integrity under Moderate Mechanical Stress and repeated Service loads.

VALOX™ 4012G PBT Resin also offers reliable Resistance to Oils, Greases, and commonly encountered Industrial Chemicals, supporting Consistent performance in environments where Chemical exposure is part of normal operating conditions.

The material is widely used in Electrical Components, Mechanical Housings, and general Structural parts where Predictable material behavior, dimensional consistency, and durability are essential, but Flame Retardancy is not a Design requirement.

While this grade does not carry a UL 94 Flammability Classification, it is well suited for Non Flame Critical Applications. RoHS Compliance further supports the use of VALOX™ 4012G PBT Resin in regulated Global Markets, enabling responsible material selection across international industries.
