VALOX™ 420 PBT 30% Glass Reinforced. Non FR & High Heat Stability

General Purpose, Chemical Resistance with Excellent Balance Properties

VALOX™ 420 Resin is a 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) Engineering Resin developed to deliver an excellent combination of Strength, Stiffness, Dimensional Stability, and Heat Resistance. As a General-Purpose, Non-Flame-Retardant Grade, this material is widely used in applications requiring enhanced Structural performance while retaining the Processing Advantages and Chemical Resistance Associated with the VALOX™ PBT family.

The Incorporation of 30% Glass Fiber Reinforcement significantly Improves the Mechanical properties of VALOX™ 420 compared to Unfilled PBT Grades. The material Exhibits High Stiffness and Strength, enabling Molded components to maintain Structural Integrity under Mechanical Loads and demanding Service Conditions. This makes the Resin particularly suitable for Parts where Rigidity and Dimensional Accuracy are Essential.

Another important benefit of VALOX™ 420 Resin is its excellent Dimensional Stability. The Glass Reinforcement helps reduce Shrinkage and Minimize Dimensional Changes during Processing and Service, allowing manufacturers to achieve Tighter Tolerances and improved Assembly Fit. These characteristics are especially valuable for Precision-Molded Engineering Components.

The Resin also offers High Heat Stability, enabling Parts to maintain their Mechanical performance when exposed to Elevated Operating Temperatures. Combined with the Inherent Chemical Resistance of PBT, VALOX™ 420 Performs reliably in Environments where Contact with Oils, Greases, Fuels, and Industrial Chemicals may Occur.

From a Design Perspective, VALOX™ 420 provides a Well-Balanced Engineering Platform for applications requiring a combination of Mechanical Strength, Thermal Performance, and Long-Term Dimensional Consistency. Its Reinforced Construction makes it One of the Most widely Specified Grades for Structural Engineering components where performance and reliability are Critical.

RoHS Compliance: VALOX™ 420 Resin supports RoHS Requirements, helping manufacturers reduce the use of Restricted Hazardous Substances while maintaining Dependable Engineering Performance.
